Job Description


An Award-Winning Reserve is looking for a SOUS CHEF to join their teamCandidate Requirements:

  • Grade 12
  • Formal Chef qualifications are advantageous
  • At least 2+ years Chef experience
  • Must have excellent kitchen management skills - including all kitchen administration, general hygiene and people management
  • Must have a passion for training staff, creating fabulous food, and new ideas
  • Should have good interpersonal skills and a sense of urgency
  • Must have excellent attention to detail
  • Should be diligent and self-motivated
  • Must have the willingness/ability to share information and teach and inspire others
Key Responsibilities:
  • Kitchen Hygiene standards set
  • Responsible for training chefs & implementing kitchen standards.
  • Abide by the 7 day Menu set according to Food Styling Guide
  • Work with the training chef when visits are conducted and be feedback fit
  • Presentation as discussed and according to Styling Guide
  • Up to date with Whats Hot & Whats Not
  • Through the Tummy of the Guest Bops
  • Creative Bush Banqueting according to Food Styling Guide
  • Proactive Maintenance
