RedCat Recruitment is seeking a qualified and experienced SOUS CHEF (LIVE-IN) for a hospitality concern based in the Drakensberg area, KwaZulu-Natal.REQUIREMENTSGrade 12.Valid Code 08 drivers license.Strong computer skills (MS Office / Email).A recognised qualification from a hotel/catering college/chef school or similar accredited institution would be a strong advantage.Person must be able to speak, read and write English efficiently. Proficiency in English, Afrikaans and Zulu is advantageous.2-3 years experience in a full-service hotel in a remote location and in a leadership role either as a sous chef or 2IC in a brigade system.Person will be required to assist the Executive Chef with the planning, organising and preparation of all food production in the kitchen for the restaurant, patio, banqueting, conferences, and room service.
