Sous Chefs | Pretoria East | Upmarket SteakhouseWe are looking for skilled, passionate, and experienced SOUS CHEFS to join the culinary team at a renowned, Upmarket Steakhouse in Pretoria East. Known for exceptional food, service, and a sophisticated atmosphere, this fast-paced, dynamic restaurant offers a diverse menu featuring steaks, seafood, and vegetarian options.As the ideal candidate you will have:

• Matric
• Versatile Chef with 8-10 years of experience excelling in all aspects of a high-volume, upscale kitchen.
• Ability to work efficiently and maintain composure under pressure.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Passion for food and dedication to exceeding guest expectations.
• Must have a positive attitude and a sense of urgency

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Proficiently prepares a diverse range of dishes, cooking of stews, curries and sauces
• General kitchen prep
• Ensuring food is consistent according to recipes.
• Maintains a clean and organized workstation, adhering to all food safety standards, across various kitchen stations.
• Communicates effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely and accurate orders for all menu items.
• Monitors food quality and presentation for all dishes, ensuring they meet the restaurants high standards.
• Efficiently manages multiple orders while maintaining composure in a very fast-paced environment.
• Contributes to a positive and collaborative team environment.

Salary Package:

• R10 000, depending on experience and skills
• Duty Meals
• Night shift transport
• 1 and a half days off per week
