  • Achieving an optimal interaction between commercial, inventories and operational costs throughout the supply chain
  • Achieving excellent customer service by ensuring visibility across the supply chain and pro-active problem-solving and communication.
  • Forming a platform for further integration & improvements in the supply chain
  • Orchestrating the IBP Demand Review in strong partnership with Commercial and Finance
  • Ensuring smooth and timely supply replenishment to South Africa location (Supply Network Planning)
Key Responsibilities:
  • You are accountable for the performance of your region and for the critical metrics identified (MAPE, Cumulative BIAS, Stock outs, SLOB, R & O, adherence to downstream coverage process). You lead, motivate and guide your team to excellence in order to achieve the targets.
  • You build up an exceptional partnership and relationship with your region. Customer (internal and external) satisfaction is key. You understand their business needs. Together with your team you are able to transform those into process improvements and valuable services for your customers.
  • You lead your team and ensure all formal and informal communication processes to your team members are done. You stimulate their learning and development thereby building the workforce of the future by Upskilling competencies through D&IM-specific Learning & Development plans
  • You are a problem solver and you ensure the lean thinking idea is embedded in your team.
  • Responsible for In-market Demand Planning Process, supporting the IBP process, orchestrating the Consensus demand meeting, reviewing the Tender Scenarios Planning & New Product Launch forecasts with Finance and Commercial
  • Addressing increasing demand volatility by fully adopting statistical models and correct Demand Planning segmentation
  • Accountable for Supply Network Planning, monitoring demand coverage and perform proper upstream communication to eliminate risk of stockout, ensuring inventory distribution as per market needs and net requirements propagation.
  • Implement successful mitigation plans in times of supply constraints and embedding a performance driven culture by ensuring appropriate prioritization
  • Generate the necessary reports and initiating the controls for SOX compliance requirements.
  • Ensure OTIF targets are met by orchestrating local discussion for action plan to improve customer deliveries
  • You are responsible for Global Trade Compliance requirements and reporting on behalf of local OPCO
QualificationsEducation:
  • University Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Marketing, Finance or equivalent is preferred.
Experience and Skills:Required:
  • Min 5 years of experience in Supply Chain, Customer Service or Sales & Commercial fields.
  • Ability to collaborate and build strong partnerships internally & externally with key senior stakeholders
  • Demonstrated impact in roles requiring orchestration and influence
  • E2E mindset and collaborative, influence-based leadership approach
  • Critical thinking
  • Knowledge of SAP and Excel
Preferred:
  • People management experience
  • Strategic thinking
  • Experience in fulfilling Compliance requirements
  • Knowledge of OMP
