Recreation Africa Leisure Industries (PTY) Ltd requires the services of a Spa Manager
We are seeking a passionate and experience individual to join our team and contribute to the exceptional Spa experiences offered to our guests.
The responsibilities will include:
Oversee day-to-day operations of the Spa, ensuring everything runs smoothly and
efficiently. This process includes scheduling, facility management, and health and
safety regulations compliance.
Hire, train, and manage Spa staff, including therapists, receptionist, to ensure high-
quality service.
Handle customer expectations in a professional manner, anticipating and addressing
their needs and desires. Provide flexible customer service to ensure customer
satisfaction and loyalty.
Maintain a high profile with guests within the Spa, brief guests about changes, delays
or cancellations of planned activities.
Manage the Spa`s budget, including setting financial goals, monitoring expenditures,
and implementing plans to increase profitability.
Create and execute marketing and promotional strategies to attract new clients and
retain existing ones. This effort may involve social media marketing, special packages,
and partnerships.
Maintaining an updated client database
Monitor and control the flow of supplies that includes the purchase, storage and
movement of the required quality of raw materials, and also work-in-progress
inventory. Manage supply chain activities and synchronise supply with demand of
production and customer.
Manage the Spa supplies, products, and equipment inventory, while minimising
waste maintain adequate stock levels, and order new supplies as necessary.
Regularly evaluate service quality and client satisfaction and make necessary
adjustments.
Perform workshops and lectures pertaining to own professional field
Develop long-term goals and business strategies for the Spa, identify growth and
expansion opportunities, and incorporate industry trends and innovations
Ensure the Spa meets with all hygiene standards and complies with all health
regulations and safety standards, including cleanliness and hygiene.
Create efficient work schedules for staff and ensure enough staff members are
available to meet customer demand.
Lead, supervise and motivate a group of people, in order to meet the expected results withing a given timeline and with the foreseen resources in mind.
Training staff members on new skills and industry standards
Establish daily priorities for Spa employees. Effectively deal with multi-task workload.
Minimum Requirements:
International recognized Spa qualifications, Degree or certification in hospitality management or a related field.
Computer literacy with knowledge of Microsoft Office Proficiency, Excel
Matric
Qualified in the following an advantage: massage, facials, manicures, pedicures, waxing, wraps
Four years of work experience as a Spa Manager, solid knowledge and understanding of Spa operations and business
Leadership or other supervisory experience
Advance skills in accounting and inventory management
Must be mature, responsible, passionate and target driven.
Exceptional sales and marketing skills
Must be well groomed to present the brand, neat and big on hygiene
Must be a Team player, reliable, energetic, goal driven and well-spoken
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Hands-on Problem-Solving approach and the ability to remain calm under pressure and the ability to handle multiple priorities.
