Job Description
SPA THERAPIST (Body & Skin)
BLOUBERGSTRAND, WEST COAST - South Africa
Starting Date: February 2024 / ASAP
Reports to: Spa Manager
TRADING HOURS & SHIFTS:
- Monday - Friday 09:00am - 19:00 incl. lunch
- Saturday & Public Holiday 09:00am - 17:00pm incl. lunch
- Sunday 09:00 - 16:00 incl. lunch
- 5 shifts per week (including weekend) / 45 hours per week
- 1x Weekend off per month (Sat & Sun) + days off in the week
- Basic Salary per month (based on skill level & relevant industry experience)
- 20% Targeted Commission (Treatments & Retail)
- Tips & Gratuities
- ITEC / CIDESCO / CIBTAC / City & Guilds / SAAHSP / Services Seta etc.
- Cruise Ship employment experience highly beneficial
- At least ONE year's employment experience post-graduation in a Spa or Cruise Ship
- Professionally groomed and beautifully presented
- Able to perform services back to back
- Confidently prescribe alternative treatments and relevant home care
- Confident & Certified in the following standard services:
- Skin Care & Facials
- Body Massage (Swedish / Hot Stone etc.)
- Manicure & Pedicure (including Gel Polish application & removal)
- Waxing - Body (legs, arms and intimate areas)
- Waxing - Face (brows, lip, chin & Cheeks)
- Tinting
- Nail Technology including Acrylic
- Lash Extensions
- Lash Lift / Curl
- Brow Lamination
