Job Title: Spa Therapist
Location: Drostdy Hotel, Graaff-Reinet, Managed by Valor Hospitality Partners

The Spa Therapist will be responsible for delivering world-class treatments while ensuring guest satisfaction and upholding the highest standards of professionalism and care.Spa & Client Service:

• Arrive 30 minutes before shift to prepare for guest appointments.
• Conduct pre-treatment consultations, ensuring guests complete and sign consultation forms.
• Assess contraindications such as medication, illness, or recent surgeries before treatments.
• Address guests by their last name and introduce yourself professionally.
• Perform treatments with precision, ensuring client comfort and relaxation.
• Maintain guest modesty at all times, covering only necessary areas.
• Ensure jewellery is safely stored in a designated client bowl.
• Check in regularly with the front desk for any appointment changes.

Administrative & Operational Duties:

• Keep accurate treatment records and update client consultation cards.
• Maintain high hygiene standards and proper care of treatment rooms.
• Assist with product recommendations and retail sales.
• Participate in general administrative duties as required.

Requirements:Qualifications & Experience:

• CIDESCO, BABTEC, ITEC, or City & Guilds certification/diploma from an accredited training institution.
• Prior experience in a luxury spa or hospitality setting.
• Min 3 years working experience in a similar role.

• Well-groomed, professional appearance, including neatly tied hair, manicured nails, and appropriate makeup.
• Strong customer service skills with a warm and engaging personality.
• High standards of honesty, courtesy, punctuality, and discretion.
• Self-motivated, disciplined, and confident in performing treatments.
• In-depth knowledge of spa treatments and retail products.
