This role is dedicated to crafting tailor-made itineraries, managing reservations, and ensuring top-tier service for clients. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the travel industry, particularly in South, Southern, and East Africa, and be fluent in both English and Spanish.DescriptionAs a Travel Specialist based in Sandton, you will be responsible for designing and managing bespoke leisure itineraries for FIT clients. Your duties will include handling the entire reservations process, from initial quotes to finalizing bookings, invoicing, and preparing travel documents. You will need to adhere to strict turnaround times and maintain clear communication with internal teams, agents, and suppliers.Your role involves proactive selling of the companyxe2x80x99s products and services, ensuring that each guest receives the best possible experience. You will collaborate with various departments to maintain high service standards and uphold the companyxe2x80x99s core values. This position requires strong industry knowledge, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to perform well under pressure.Itinerary Planning and Design:

• Create innovative, tailor-made leisure FIT itineraries.
• Manage the reservations process from start to finish, including booking, invoicing, and documentation.
• Ensure timely responses and adherence to standard operating procedures.

Service Delivery:

• Actively sell products and services to craft optimal guest experiences.
• Maintain clear, consistent communication with colleagues, agents, operators, guests, and suppliers.
• Uphold the companyxe2x80x99s core values in all interactions and ensure service excellence.

Product Knowledge and Learning:

• Maintain expertise in Tourplan (or a similar booking system) and WETU.
• Stay informed about the geographic and product details of South, Southern, and East Africa.
• Demonstrate a commitment to learning and adapting to new information.

Minimum RequirementsKnowledge and Experience:

• 3xe2x80x935 years of inbound tour operating experience.
• Extensive knowledge of at least two of the three regions: South Africa, Southern Africa, or East Africa.
• Proficiency in using Tourplan or a similar booking system, and WETU.
• Strong understanding of delivering excellent service to agents and guests.

Skills:

• Fluent in both verbal and written Spanish, preferably South American Spanish.
• Strong communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
• Excellent time and desk management skills, with a methodical approach to work.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and demonstrate initiative.
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
• Client/guest-focused with a calm, professional demeanor.
