Our client is on the lookout for a dynamic Specialist Data & Integration Architect to lead their data architecture strategy. This pivotal role involves developing robust data models, governance frameworks, and scalable systems to support the organisations long-term data vision. The ideal candidate will work across teams to ensure data is accessible, secure, and reliable.Key Responsibilities:

• Shape and oversee the organisations enterprise data architecture, ensuring alignment with overall business and technical strategies.
• Establish and maintain standards, best practices, and frameworks for effective data integration, storage, and security.
• Design and deploy scalable, secure data platforms, databases, and systems.
• Lead efforts to implement data governance, promoting data ownership, stewardship, and quality.
• Ensure compliance with both regulatory requirements and internal policies, with a focus on data integrity and documentation.
• Act as a bridge between technical teams and business leaders, aligning data strategies with organizational objectives.
• Stay at the forefront of technological advancements, championing the adoption of cutting-edge data solutions.
• Drive innovation in data management, particularly in emerging areas like big data, AI, and machine learning.

Requirements:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a similar discipline.
• Over 6 years of experience in data architecture and management, with at least 3 years in a senior, enterprise-level role.
• Deep expertise in managing both relational and non-relational databases, with experience in Graph databases being essential.
• Proven track record in data governance, data quality, and metadata management.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms and data integration tools.
• Hands-on experience with data architecture tools and database management systems such as SQL, MySQL, GraphDB, and MongoDB.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of translating technical insights into strategic recommendations.
• Familiarity with data privacy regulations and AI/ML frameworks.
