Requirements



Trade Tested in Welding NTC 3 trade theory will be an added advantage Minimum of 5 years' post apprenticeship experience Physically fit and able bodied A valid driver's licence code EB Compulsory to work after hours and over weekends Compulsory to do standby duty. Compulsory to work in all weather conditions.

Key Performance Areas



Repairing; Fabricating; Cutting and Installing steel structures,

pipe sections and associated components using various



welding techniques / procedures.



Measuring; developments and sketching of structures, pipe

sections; adaptors and associated components as well as



interpret drawings.



Manage workflow via SAP and preparing of Bill of Materials

(BOM)



Ensure compliance to OHSACT requirements and related safety

controls such as work permits, lock out procedures, etc.



Supervising staff in performance and execution of work assigned

to them to ensure work is done timeously and correctly.



Identifying staff skills gap and activate training needs aimed at

closing the gaps and capacitating individuals.



Addressing workplace conflict / misconduct.
