We are looking for a passionate and experienced Specialist Mathematics Teacher in the Primary School who can inspire confidence and joy in mathematics, while contributing positively to our school community.

Minimum Requirements

The duties and Responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to:


A recognized teaching qualification with a specialisation in Primary Education and/or Mathematics; Proven experience in teaching primary school mathematics with a track record of Grade 7 Mathematics teaching; A passion for mathematics and the ability to inspire and engage young learners; Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a personality suited to a community-focused environment; Leadership abilities and experience in mentoring or leading a team of educators would be advantageous; Current and Valid Registration with SACE; Computer literacy and ability to integrate IT suitably in teaching and learning; Current teaching experience in an ISASA school; Must have the ability to identify with the values and ethos of SAHETI School.

Duties and Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality mathematics instruction to primary school students; Develop innovative lesson plans that build confidence and excitement for mathematics; Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and curiosity; Provide mentorship and guidance to fellow educators, sharing best practices and fostering a collaborative teaching environment. Engage with parents and the community to support student learning and development; Participate actively in all school activities and contribute to the community spirit; Monitor and support pastoral care of pupils; * Engage and participate in the reflection and staff development process of the School.
