Certified by the Top Employer Institute 2024.Role Purpose/Business Unit:To perform operational functions related to faults and configurations across network security systemsYour responsibilities will include:Support

• Provide high level support for CDN systems
• Perform systems and configuration testing
• Plan and execute configuration changes on routers and switches
• Evaluate and implement system OS software releases for routers and switches.
• Engage with engineering, regional operations and NMG network performance teams to understand and address network concerns.

Planning

• Engage with engineering and regional operations teams to define service
• requirements
• Evaluate system architecture and recommend system improvements
• Compile detailed system design and implementation plans
• Compile and keep site documentation up to date.
• Audit the site configurations and ensure alignment to architecture standards

The Ideal Candidate for this role will have:Must have technical / professional qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree or 3-year diploma in Information Technology or Electrical Engineering
• An advanced Networking Certification

Core competencies, knowledge and experience:

• Network Security Protocols and Services
• Routing Protocols
• IP/MPLS and Ethernet technologies.
• Firewall Architectures and Operations
• Firewall product knowledge
• GSM, UMTS and LTE knowledge
