This role involves facilitating internal and external relationships across stakeholder touchpoints and growing an existing portfolio of clients whilst driving the Transactional Banking sales agenda directly through the RB Coverage teams.Your key accountabilities in this role will include;Portfolio Management

• Identify and review client needs to provide advice and deliver products and services by maintaining a strong relationship with clients and stakeholders.
• Resolve client issues appropriately and escalate those unable to resolve to the respective banker or Regional Sales Manager.
• Identify market and industry trends by analyzing sector research, economic periodicals, and industry journals, and advise RB stakeholders and clients on these.

Networking and Relationship Management

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Optimize external customer relationships to maximize business opportunities and enhance the positioning of Trade, International Banking & Working Capital through visible marketing activities and active participation in relevant forums.

Risk Management

• Conduct sales within statutory and regulatory requirements, as well as through strict application of Absa policies and procedures.
• Engage with clients to keep them abreast with regulatory requirements (e.g. Exchange Control Sanctions and Money laundering), whilst maintaining a solutioning approach to their needs

• A B Degree in Commerce or equivalent or relevant NQF level 7
• Minimum 4 years General Banking experience
• Minimum 4 years International Banking/Transactional Banking advisory experience
• Six months FAIS experience
