Splicer Technician
Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for configuring and installing VoIP PBX systems, providing high-level technical support to external customers, and working under minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
Splicing on live client's networks
OTDR testing
Install, repair and test fiber optic cables
Splice new lines into the network grid
install cables above ground on poles or underground
Maintain projects tracing information
Diagnose and repair faults in fibre, wireless and voice networks.
Provide on-site and remote support to clients.
Document all work performed and communicate effectively with the team.
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION
Technical qualification or experience in Telecommunication
Valid driver's license (essential)
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to R15000,00 per month
Work Location: In person
Expected Start Date: 2025/03/03
