SQL Database Administrator (DBA)

Role Overview:

The SQL DBA will be responsible for the performance, integrity, and security of the company's databases. The role includes database planning, development, troubleshooting, and ensuring data availability, backup, and recovery.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, install, configure, and maintain SQL Server databases. Ensure database performance, security, and integrity. Perform database tuning, optimization, and indexing. Implement and maintain backup, recovery, and disaster recovery plans. Monitor database health and troubleshoot issues. Develop and manage SQL scripts, stored procedures, and triggers. Work closely with the development team to support application needs. Ensure compliance with data protection and security policies.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an SQL Database Administrator. Proficiency in SQL Server (2016 and later), T-SQL. SQL server, stored procedures. Strong understanding of database security, backup, and recovery strategies. Experience with database performance tuning and optimization. Familiarity with cloud-based databases is advantageous. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
