Job Description
Prominent company is looking for a highly skilled individual with substantial Microsoft T-SQL experience to join a highly skilled team to maintain and enhance their core products. Melrose based, travel outside Gauteng may be required.Requirements
- Non-negotiable 5 years experience
- Extensive knowledge of T-SQL in Microsoft SQL Server Environment
- SC Actuarial Science
- IT related B.Com or B.Sc (IT) degree
- Interact with various stakeholders and provide holistic solutions
- Have a strong technical focus
- Fluently code stored procedures, vies and functions using Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio
- Identify drawbacks and make appropriate improvements
- Identify existing problems and implement appropriate solutions
- Interact with clients business analysts to establish requirements for new enhancements
- Analyse requirements, build new business functions or enhance- existing ones using T-SQL
- Testing various procedures
- Resolve support queries
- Analyse and resolve any system errors
- Query optimizations
- Writing reports and creating templates
- Knowledge of SSIS is advantageous for data conversion and data cleansing
- Liaise with training department
