D

uties (not an exhaustive list):




Ensuring the safety of the children by checking playground equipment and toys Ensuring children play safely Engage with parents and address concerns in the Manager's absence Take initiative and act decisively Help to maintain a neat and organised Aftercare area Supervise all activities to ensure safety at all times Filing and documentation for accurate records keeping Attending to children who are not well or injured


Required Qualifications and Experience




Matric Minimum of 3 years experience in dealing with children Current First Aid Certificate is an advantage. Working hours to be confirmed with your Line Manager will be from 12h00 - 18h00, Aftercare will run from approximately 12h00 - 18h00 each day. Hours and expectations may differ slightly during school holidays.



Candidates should have the following attributes:




Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage staff and maintain standards in the Manager's absence Self-motivated, organised, and energetic Good administration skills A willingness to support and mentor and to be mentored The intention to work according to the school's ethos, specifications, and policies A willingness to work as part of a team
