Job Advert Summary
BTT is currently recruiting for Four (4) Staging Controllers to join the Richards Bay Logistics Team.
Main Purpose of the Job:
To coordinate the staging and movement of road vehicles entering the TNPA Vehicle staging area for access to the terminal

Minimum Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
Matric with Mathematics 3 years' experience in Security and/or vehicle/gate control 3 years of administrative experience Plant operational and Logistics experience advantageous Basic computer skills Drivers' Licence

Duties and Responsibilities
Job Specification:
Liaise with TNPA personnel to coordinate the staging of all vehicles at the TNPA staging area Ensure all vehicle documentation is correct, valid and verified Control vehicle access to site according to documentation and orders for loading and offloading Liaise with Logistics and Operations personnel regarding released and unreleased vehicles at the staging area Document vehicle arrivals and record all details on the VSR monitor system Capture vehicle details on the system Keep accurate records of driver and vehicle details Compile and submit handover reports Report all deviations, delays and incidents Check and verify order and transporter details in line with existing orders Maintain updated records Submit applications for TNPA E-Permits access
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities required:
Report writing skills Ability to fluently communicate in English. Must be computer literate. Must be able to work independently. Must be able to work shifts, standby and overtime * Security background will be beneficial
