Job Description
We are a leading shopfitting and signage company specializing in high-quality manufacturing and installation. We are looking for a Steel Team Leader with strong experience in signage fabrication and technical drawings to lead our steel team and ensure precision in production.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate the steel fabrication team in signage and shopfitting projects. Read, interpret, and work from technical drawings and blueprints. Ensure high-quality standards in fabrication, assembly, and welding. Manage workflow, delegate tasks, and ensure project deadlines are met. Oversee the maintenance and safe operation of steelwork machinery and tools. Conduct quality checks and problem-solve fabrication challenges. Collaborate with designers, project managers, and installation teams. Maintain a safe and organized workshop environment.
Requirements:
? Proven experience in steel fabrication within the signage or shopfitting industry.
? Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
? Skilled in welding, cutting, and assembling steel components.
? Leadership experience, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
? Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
? Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a workshop environment.
