If you have a knack for precision and a passion for excellence, this could be the perfect opportunity for you to join an ambitious company which are expanding into new markets.Vacancy DetailsIn the Estimator position you will be responsible for preparing competitive tenders and estimates for various building projects, in doing this you will consider different factors like quality assurance, materials, transportation, fabrication and labour costs to name just a few. You will be responsible for pricing all activities, tender adjudication, document submission and meeting with clients.You will be a key part in the winning of new business, working closely with other departments including design, construction, sales, and contracts to provide the client with the most cost-effective tender information. Part of this will also involve preparing and delivering presentations to prospective customers and reviewing contract terms to existing clients.This is a position where you are growing and maintaining relationships both internally within the company and in the wider construction market.Responsibilitiesxc2xb7 Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.xc2xb7 Preparation of tender documentation, measurement, estimation and submission of same.xc2xb7 Review of tender documentation, completion of take-offs, and submission of tenders for structural steel/construction projectsxc2xb7 Full cost control of contracts, liaising with team members.xc2xb7 Prepare and submit monthly valuations and final account agreements.xc2xb7 Producing weekly/monthly cost value reports for Management.xc2xb7 Implementation of new estimating and cost recording methods.xc2xb7 Prepare and issue subcontract documentation including the Letter of Award and company H&S Pack.xc2xb7 Analyse returned subcontract quotes and establish best value for money.xc2xb7 Explore and promote areas where opportunities may exist to the Operations Manager.xc2xb7 Issue Subcontract Payment Notifications as and when required.xc2xb7 Issue cost allowances to the Site Agent and review budgets for work being undertaken.xc2xb7 Follow up and negotiation of supplier enquiries & quotations.xc2xb7 Completion of tender checklists.xc2xb7 Successfully collaborate with key stakeholders to include with clients / client representatives, architects, consultant engineers, site managers, supervisors, planners etcThe Successful candidate will be Reporting to the Company MDJob Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: From R85 000 per month
