Job Description
SUMMARY:
Our client is looking for a dedicated Stock and Procurement Controller to serve as a vital link between their lodges and suppliers. This role will ensure that all stock and equipment needs are met efficiently, while also collaborating closely with the finance department to maintain accurate inventory management and accountability.POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:
- Stock Management:
- Consolidate and process orders for three lodges.
- Place orders with suppliers and maintain strong relationships.
- Source and evaluate new suppliers as needed.
- Conduct monthly stock counts and spot checks across all departments.
- Manage stock items, including food & beverage, housekeeping, maintenance supplies, stationery, first aid, and staff shop items.
- Operating Equipment Oversight:
- Maintain detailed records of operating equipment, including supplier information and product codes.
- Perform weekly breakage reports and spot checks on operating equipment.
- Reorder equipment and uniforms as necessary.
- Special Item Sourcing:
- Identify and source any special items as required.
- Compile and prepare documentation for management and
- Education: Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in stock management or procurement, preferably in the
