Key Responsibilities:
1. Inventory Management:
o Monitor stock levels, and maintain accurate records of inventory items.
o Conduct regular stock counts (physical ) to ensure accurate stock levels.
o Ensure proper stock rotation, minimizing product expiration or obsolescence.2. Stock Organization:
o Ensure that goods are stored in an organized manner that promotes easy access and reduces wastage.
o Implement and maintain an effective labeling and categorization system for products.3. Data Entry & Record Keeping:
o Update and maintain the inventory management system with accurate stock take data.
o Prepare and submit inventory reports to senior management on a regular basis.4. Stock Quality & Condition:
o Check stock for damage or discrepancies and handle returns or replacements when necessary.
o Implement quality control procedures to ensure the condition of stock is maintained.5. Collaboration with Other Departments:
o Work closely with purchasing, sales, and logistics teams to ensure smooth inventory flow.
o Assist in resolving any stock-related issues, such as shortages or discrepancies.6. Health & Safety Compliance:
o Ensure stock is stored and handled in compliance with health and safety regulations.
o Maintain a clean, safe working environment.7. Continuous Improvement:
o Suggest and implement ways to optimize stock management processes.
o Stay updated with best practices in inventory management and industry trends.Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience: Proven experience in stock control, inventory management, or a similar role.- Skills:
o Strong organizational and time-management skills.
o Good communication and interpersonal skills.
o Proficiency with inventory management software
o Strong attention to detail.
o Ability to solve problems and handle discrepancies.Physical Requirements:
- Ability to walk extensively.
- Ability to work outdoors for extended periods.Additional Requirements:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changes in stock levels or demand.
- Flexibility to work different shifts if necessary.
