Job Description


Minimum requirements for the role:

  • A qualification in supply chain or related is preferred but not essential for the role.
  • The successful candidate must have advanced Excel being able to work on pivot tables and VLook-ups.
  • Previous experience having worked in a Store Controller or Warehouse Administrator, or related Supply Chain Coordinator role is preferred.
  • Computer literacy is essential with good working knowledge of Microsoft packages.
  • Previous experience working on salesforce or Navision or a related CRM System is preferred.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
  • Managing and overseeing all stock movements and administration within the warehouse ensuring that all systems align with the movement of stock.
  • Monitoring and tracking stock levels for all scientific equipment, ensuring adequate availability for sales and distribution.
  • Regularly updating inventory records on the system, ensuring real-time accuracy of stock movements (incoming and outgoing).
  • Coordinating with the warehouse or distribution teams to ensure accurate stock counts, timely deliveries, and proper storage of equipment.
  • Performing periodic physical stock counts and reconciling discrepancies between physical inventory and the accounting system records.
  • Investigating any stock variances or discrepancies, ensuring prompt resolution and adjustment in the system.
  • Ensuring invoices are aligned with delivery documentation (such as delivery notes or proof of delivery) and internal systems.
  • Ensuring that all stock movements (sales, returns, adjustments, transfers) are accurately reflected in the companys accounting management systems.
  • Working closely with the finance and accounting teams to ensure that stock values in the accounting system match the actual inventory in the warehouse.
  • Preparing regular inventory and sales reports, including stock levels, stock turnover, and sales trends, for management review.
  • Providing analysis on inventory usage rates, ensuring proactive reordering to prevent stockouts or overstocking.
  • Collaborating with the sales team to ensure timely fulfilment of orders, managing stock allocations to meet customer demands.
