Job Description


:Responsibilities:Provide feedback to management regarding stock issues and movementsDrive the ultimate customer experienceEnsure sales targets are metManaging the receiving and dispatching of stockProcessing stock within specified time framesFacilitating efficient rotation of stock, from the stockroom to the sales floorEnsuring the neatness and Housekeeping standards are world classManage Shrinkage in line with company standardsQualifications:A Grade 12 qualification or equivalentRetail experience (essential)2 years Stockroom experience (Advantageous)Hospitability background (Advantageous)Skills:A customer-centric attitude and approachExcellent communication skills (verbal and written)Ability to give direction to stockroom teamMust be able to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business and willrequire weekends and evening shiftsCompetencies and behaviours for success:Taking on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm.Effectively building formal and informal relationship networks inside and outside the organization.Building strong customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions.Making good and timely decisions that keep the organization moving forward.Anticipating and adopting innovations in business-building digital and technology applications.Creating a climate where people are motivated to do their best to help the organization achieve its objectives.Making good and timely decisions that keep the organization moving forward.Using a combination of feedback and reflection to gain productive insight into personal strengths and weaknesses.Good verbal/ written communication skills and good organisational skillsStrong organizational and planning skillsThe ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environmentThe ability to work independentlyThe ability to take initiativeA high level of attention to detailPreference will be given, but not limited to candidates from designated groups in terms of the Employment Equity Act.About Us:Who we are is because of our people.
