Who We're Looking For

Our ideal candidate is:

A natural leader who treats the store like their own business. Ready to support and guide the Assistant Manager and Booksellers while building a fun and productive team culture. Excited about fostering community connections and hosting bookstore events. Results-driven, ensuring sales targets are not just met but exceeded. A detail-oriented leader who values consistency, adheres to company standard and ensures their team does the same.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day store operations, including inventory and security controls. Drive performance by monitoring sales and motivating your team to achieve monthly targets and incentives. Maintain top-tier customer service standards throughout the store. Train and develop team members for future growth opportunities. Manage costs effectively while maximizing profits. Actively participate in the store's daily operations, including floor work and event planning. Commit to a strong community presence and engagement.
What You'll Need:

Minimum qualification:

Matric

with 3-5 years of sales or retail experience. Be an

AVID

reader! Leadership experience: 3-5 years managing teams in a sales or retail environment. A diploma or degree is an advantage. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience with POS systems, inventory management, and merchandising in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment. Flexibility to work retail hours and handle physical tasks.
