Job SummaryKey Responsibilities:

  • Receive, inspect, and verify all incoming goods and supplies against delivery notes or purchase orders.
  • Ensure proper storage of all items in designated areas, maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of storerooms.
  • Issue stock to various departments based on approved requisitions and maintain accurate records.
  • Monitor stock levels regularly and assist with stocktakes and inventory counts.
  • Report discrepancies, shortages, or damaged goods promptly to the Cost Controller or Finance team.
  • Rotate stock appropriately to minimize wastage and ensure the use of items before expiry dates.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for inventory transactions, including receipts, transfers, and returns.
  • Uphold health, hygiene, and safety standards in all storage areas.
  • Liaise with suppliers and internal departments to support smooth operations and timely supply.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Minimum of 2 -3 yearsxe2x80x99 experience in a storekeeping or warehouse role, preferably within hospitality or food & beverage.
  • Familiarity with inventory management and stock control procedures.
  • Physically fit and able to handle manual lifting and movement of stock.
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of stock management systems (experience with Opera, Micros, or Sage is advantageous).
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in handling documentation.
  • Professional, reliable, and a strong team player.
