Job SummaryKey Responsibilities:

Receive, inspect, and verify all incoming goods and supplies against delivery notes or purchase orders.
Ensure proper storage of all items in designated areas, maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of storerooms.
Issue stock to various departments based on approved requisitions and maintain accurate records.
Monitor stock levels regularly and assist with stocktakes and inventory counts.
Report discrepancies, shortages, or damaged goods promptly to the Cost Controller or Finance team.
Rotate stock appropriately to minimize wastage and ensure the use of items before expiry dates.
Maintain accurate documentation for inventory transactions, including receipts, transfers, and returns.
Uphold health, hygiene, and safety standards in all storage areas.
Liaise with suppliers and internal departments to support smooth operations and timely supply.

Qualifications & Experience:

Minimum of 2 -3 yearsxe2x80x99 experience in a storekeeping or warehouse role, preferably within hospitality or food & beverage.
Familiarity with inventory management and stock control procedures.
Physically fit and able to handle manual lifting and movement of stock.
Basic computer skills and knowledge of stock management systems (experience with Opera, Micros, or Sage is advantageous).
Good organizational and time management skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in handling documentation.
Professional, reliable, and a strong team player.
