Job Description
Eastern Cape, Port ElizabethR 7500 - R 7500 Monthly Basic Salary (Market related)Our client in the pharmaceutical industry based in Port Elizabeth is currently looking to employ a Storeman. This is a 3 month contract position.Requirements:
- Relevant Standard Operating Procedure
- Good product knowledge
- Numeracy
- Good general warehouse practice
- Matric
- Hyster licence
- 1-2 Years' experience in warehouse environment
- Communication Skills
- Planning Skills
- Time Management Skills
- Interpersonal Skills
- Monitor the temperature of the warehouse building
- Assemble all orders received from warehouse requisition
- Deliver all assembled orders to the correct shelves
- Maintain good wholesale practice
- Perform routine checks to confirm any urgent or agent orders that needs bulk or case lots
- Pack stock on the receiving floor accordingly using the forklift
- Rotate bulk stock and the different batches according the expiry dates.
- Participate in good housekeeping practice
- Receive instructions as to stock controlling and frozen products or upliftment of stock
- Participate in weekly and monthly stock takes
- Comply with OSHACT
