Our client in George is looking for a reliable and efficient Storeman to join their team. If you're detail-oriented, organized, and have experience managing stock and inventory, we would love to hear from you.Key Responsibilities:

• Storeroom work/ Stock handling.
• Messenger work/ Deliveries
• Carrying out tasks such as repair work in the storeroom with the manager's approval (handyman- type work)
• Vehicle washing
• Keeping the storeroom clean (Cleaning)
• Updating stock records (admin work)
• Ordering and recording stock (admin work)
• Receive, inspect, and record incoming products and materials
• Organize and store inventory of goods, tools, and components.
• Ensure accurate stock levels and track inventory using warehouse management systems.
• Pick, pack, and prepare products for dispatch to customers and projects.
• Maintain clean and organized storage areas for easy access to products.
• Conduct regular stock audits and report discrepancies or shortages.
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines when handling electrical items.
• Coordinate with the purchasing and sales teams to manage stock levels and delivery schedules.
• Ensure all health and safety protocols are met in the warehouse environment.

• Grade 10
• Valid driver's license.
• Extremely reliable/ honest (may be subjected to a polygraph test if necessary)/ will be working with a lot of expensive stock
• Must be able to work under pressure
• Must be a person who think independently and logically and must be highly observant and security-conscious
• Previous experience as a storeman, warehouse assistant, or in a similar role.
• Knowledge of inventory management systems (WMS) and basic computer skills.
• Ability to handle electrical products and materials safely and efficiently.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
• Physical stamina for lifting and organizing stock.
• Good communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a warehouse environment
