A leading company in the energy sector, specializing in generators and solar power solutions, is seeking a dedicated and organized Spares Storeman for their Johannesburg Head Office. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse operations, particularly in handling engine and electrical components, and will be responsible for managing stock, coordinating with suppliers, and supporting warehouse logistics. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where attention to detail and teamwork are essential.What You'll Bring:

• A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a warehouse or storeman role, ideally within a generator, automotive, or electrical environment.
• Knowledge of engine and electrical components used in generators.
• Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with suppliers and internal teams.
• Matric as a minimum qualification.
• A committed, enthusiastic, and team-oriented personality.
• A strong attention to detail and time management skills.
• Physical fitness to handle warehouse tasks, including lifting and operating equipment.

What You'll Do:

• Manage stock and inventory, ensuring accurate records for incoming and outgoing parts.
• Receive, inspect, and verify parts, maintaining their proper storage to prevent damage.
• Coordinate with local and international suppliers for timely order fulfillment and shipment tracking.
• Prepare parts for dispatch, ensuring correct packaging and documentation.
• Work closely with internal teams, including the workshop and service technicians, to fulfill part requests and provide timely information on part availability.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized warehouse environment.
• Follow company health and safety policies and comply with import/export regulations.
