Job Description

POSITION: Store man/ Receiver
LOCATION: Modderfontein, GautengDuties: The Store man will be responsible for the storage, receiving
and distribution of materials, supplies, parts, components, and tools
and will be responsible for the following:
ADMINISTRATION

• Receive all goods entering premises.
• Physically check each delivery note v/s purchase order
• Receipt all items on to data base (including non-stock items e.g. Consumables)
• Control relevant registers as required from time to time
• Ensure process flow of documents to accounts (within 24hrs)
• Warehouse management and storekeeping
• Understanding Stock Assumptions
• Inventory balancing

HEALTH & SAFETY

• Forklift maintenance - checks and reporting
• Maintain housekeeping standard in the receiving area/stores area

CUSTOMER SERVICES

• Forward goods received and receipted to various departments or persons
• Ensure goods that need to be Quality Controlled be handed to Inspector
• Ensure goods that have passed Quality Control be put into proper locations
• Control goods returned from customers
• Assist with stock takes and cycle counts

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & OTHER QUALITIES:

• Matric with Maths
• 5 years working experience in stores preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
• Experience with Audited stock take
• ERP Systems experience
• Good communication skills
• Time management skills
• Customer services skills
• Interpersonal skills
• Attention to Detail
• Excellent telephonic skills
