Are you eager to grow your skills and build a career in a supportive, inclusive environment?We are offering an exciting 12-month Learnership opportunity for people living with a disability to gain hands-on experience in retail operations, while completing a formal qualification: NQF Level 2 - Wholesale and Retail.As a Stores Learner, you will be cross-trained to work on both the sales floor and the service desk, developing essential retail skills to become a competent, customer-focused sales consultant.Key Responsibilities:Complete a minimum of 120 hours of practical workLearn and apply product knowledgePrepare for and complete assessments successfullyAssist customers in locating and selecting merchandiseMerchandising stock according to store standards (MBP principles)Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for purchases and paymentsOpen new customer accountsAssist with stock loss prevention and controlBuild positive relationships with customersEnsure safety and security of customers and store environmentMinimum Requirements:Grade 10 qualificationSouth African CitizenLiving with a documented disability (proof will be required)A strong interest in fashion and the retail environmentMust be available for the full duration of the learnership (12 months)Key Competencies:Proactive, self-motivated and willing to learnStrong interpersonal and customer service skillsEffective communication skillsEnergetic, enthusiastic, and committedTeam player with a positive attitudeApplications are open now!If you're ready to kickstart your career in retail and meet the above criteria, we encourage you to apply and take the first step toward a brighter future.
