Job Title





Strategic Content and Social Media Manager


Purpose of the Job





To manage and produce all content for Growthpoint Properties. The role includes content development for all collateral needed for marketing campaigns, internal communication, reports, presentations, websites, social media, mailers, while ensuring Growthpoint's brand consistency.


Key Performance Areas




Brand-consistent communication materials delivered on time.





Content and Communication Management: Consistent look and feel across all communications, adhering to plain language and Growthpoint's tone.

Ensure all content is proofread, accurate, and updated.


Increased social media engagement and follower growth.





Social Media Management: Monitor and engage across platforms, growing the audience and ensuring a positive brand experience.


High-quality, strategically aligned social media content.





Social Media Content Creation: Write and research relevant content for social platforms and support sector-specific


Updated and relevant web content.





Website Content: Maintain and ensure accuracy of the Growthpoint Properties website, collaborating with stakeholders.


Innovative and effective marketing ideas incorporated into the overall strategy.





Marketing Strategy Contribution: Contribute ideas for strategic development and creative processes.


Deep understanding of all levels of the business and ensure strategic alignment between division





Strategic Collaboration Management




Knowledge





Comprehensive understanding of marketing strategies, content management, and the importance of brand consistency across platforms.


Job Specific Skills





High proficiency in copywriting, content strategy, social media management, and web content maintenance. Strong collaboration, communication, and time-management skills.


Competencies




Strong content creation and editing skills. Expertise in managing social media platforms and campaigns. Ability to analyse data and convert insights into actionable strategies. Creative thinking and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Experience




Minimum 3 years' experience. Proven experience in content and social media management. Proficiency with social media management tools and analytics platforms.

Education





BJourn, or BA in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

Level of Decision-Making





Level of Decision-Making: This role requires decision-making at an operational level. Autonomy over day-to-day content and social media decisions. Strategic decisions regarding content direction and social media campaigns made in collaboration with the Head of Marketing.

Level of Problem-Solving: Problem-solving within clearly defined parameters. Challenges may include finding innovative solutions for content creation with limited resources, addressing declining engagement on social platforms, or ensuring consistent brand messaging across all channels. Complex, ambiguous problems may require collaboration with senior management or external experts.
