SUMMARY:
We are seeking a registered and experienced Structural Engineer with a strong background in bridge and culvert design.POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements:

• MSc or BSc/BEng in Structural Engineering
• Professional Engineer (Pr Eng) Registration
• Proven experience (10+ years) in bridge design and construction
• Proficiency in structural design software like Midas Civil, SOFiSTiK, RM Bridge (or similar)
• Registered Bridge Inspector certification (Advantageous)

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design and analysis of bridges, culverts, and other structural elements.
• Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
• Utilize advanced engineering software and tools for efficient design
• Prepare comprehensive contract documentation, specifications, and bills of quantities.
• Manage the tendering process and contract award.
• Administer contracts, monitor progress, and resolve disputes.
• Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from inception to completion.
• Develop and manage project schedules and budgets.
• Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, technicians, and contractors.
• Implement quality assurance and control measures to ensure project deliverables meet standards.
• Prepare accurate and timely invoices and ensure timely payment collection.
• Monitor project budgets and identify potential cost overruns.
• Implement strategies to optimize resource allocation and minimize costs
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
• Prepare proposals and presentations to secure new projects.
• Conduct feasibility studies to assess project viability and identify potential risks.
• Prepare detailed project reports, including progress updates, technical reports, and final project reports.
