Job Description
R.A.W. Projects is looking for a Boilermaker to join their team.Duties and Responsibilities:
- Take and read measurements
- Always follow specifications and instructions for maximum efficiency
- Proficient in Mig, Tig and Arc Welding
- Plan layouts and procedures for fabrication
- Determine the appropriate welding equipment or machinery to be used
- Set up components for welding
- Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety
- Conduct site meetings to review project milestones, assess work quality, identify any deviations from the plan and to make sure that the construction activities align with specifications and design intent
- Able to manage, guide and lead team to ensure quality, accuracy, and on-time completion in compliance with plans and specifications
- Trade Qualification, relevant training and/or certifications in Boilermaking
- Proven work experience as a boilermaker or similar role
- Previous experience in structural steel fabrication and construction industry
- Knowledge of construction methods and technologies
- Be able to read, interpret and fabricate from workshop drawings
- Strong leadership skills, project coordination, and time management
- Technically minded.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Able to work on their own and under pressure.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
