Structural Technologist/ Technician
Job Description
Our client in the EPCM environment is looking for a Structural Technician/ Technologist who has at least 5 years of experience in the EPCM environment or similar sectors. The successful candidate will be responsible for but not limited to the following:xc2xb7 Deliver structural engineering designs in a multi-disciplinary project environment.xc2xb7 Responsible for analysis of reinforced concrete and steel structures.xc2xb7 Delivery of projects following a modern BIM workflow.xc2xb7 Design and model in Revit.xc2xb7 Produce quality work that conforms to our ISO quality standards.xc2xb7 Attend project meetings and monitor the project progress on site.xc2xb7 Good understanding of BIM as a principle and Revit as a delivery tool.xc2xb7 Keen interest and positive attitude to engineering design, taking ownership and being proactive in the working environment.xc2xb7 B-tech/ national diploma in structural/ civil engineeringxc2xb7 Must be registered with ECSA.xc2xb7 Experience of at least 5 years in a consultancy firmxc2xb7 Must have design experience in reinforced concrete and structural steel design.xc2xb7 Proficient with Prokon/ robot/ sumo/ Autodesk Revitxc2xb7 Must be based or willing to relocate to Upington (Northern Cape)
