Job Description
To drive and operate Department vehicle and plant, effect a reliable source of material and supplies
delivery to Wastewater site staff and to assist Superintendents as and when required with staff
transport etc.
Key Responsibility Areas
- Provides a service to the public and internal staff, by transporting materials and labour,
- Operates in accordance with road safety requirements and safe working procedures.
- Communicates by two-way radio.
- Evacuates, transports disposes of tank effluent by operating a vacuum tanker.
- Performs administrative functions by completing vehicle log sheets and other related
- Supervises staff assigned to working in conjunction with the vehicle and issuing instructions
- Relieves as required for Road Plant Operator and Drainage Supervisor.
- Liaises with the general public with respect to relevant field operations.

- Valid motor vehicle driving license (Code C1).

- Valid Professional Driving Permit (PrDP).
- 3 Years relevant experience.
