Gauteng, JHB - Eastern SuburbsMonthly Cost To Company (Market related)Our client in the Manufacturing industry, based in Elandsfontein (JHB), is currently looking to employ a Supply Chain Administrator.An exciting career opportunity awaits you!Requirements:

  • Up to 5 years of experience in Supply Chain in a Manufacturing Environment.
  • Diploma in Supply Chain or related field (NQF 6) - Advantageous.
  • Microsoft Office and SAP experience essential.
Responsibilities, but not limited to:1. Supply Chain Coordination:
  • Data capturing related to receiving, stock-counts, invoicing (in main) and any other inventory management duties.
  • Receive stock at the warehouse, capture it on SAP system and ensure correct distribution thereof.
  • Stores control
  • Stock count
  • Deliveries
  • Inventory
  • Damages
  • Redundant stock
  • Monitor and control consignment stock.
  • Compile daily, weekly and monthly report for Operations Manager and CEO.
  • Ensure that quotes from suppliers are approved.
  • Compile schedule for Driver / Messenger and ensure that information is shared of daily tasks.
  • Create Purchase Requisitions on SAP for Imported stock and distributions.
  • Ensure that new code created on SAP, are accurate and correct.
  • Arrange staff training and meeting.
  • Collate Minutes during meeting.
  • Coordinate the check and Charge process.
2. Compliance:
  • Identifies and reports risks or areas of concern to management within own department and area of responsibility.
  • Ensures compliance with all relevant regulations and procedures to prevent fruitless, wasteful and irregular expenditure.
3. Cost Control:
  • Contributes to the budget preparation process.
  • Promotes and communicates the effective, efficient, economical and transparent use of financial and other resources.
  • Monitors and controls expenditure against budget and ensures spending occurs within budgetary limits and guidelines.
4. Staff Supervision:
  • Ensures that all employees have signed performance agreements.
  • Monitors and measures performance quarterly by conducting employee appraisals.
  • In collaboration with HR, identify staff performance objectives, potential areas of development and action plans where necessary.
  • Ensures ongoing training and development of employees.
  • Addresses employee relations matters fairly and promptly.
