Promotes the company's strategy at the national level; analyses performance indicators and applies improvement objectives. Selects and prepares contracts with carriers, negotiating prices and terms conditions,
Groups delivery notes by geographical areas and by carrier,
Controls transport invoices by product sold,
Prepares billing forecasts by logistics providers,
Monitors returns, communicating compliance or non-acceptance,
Maintains quality control of carriers and their approval,
Supervises, controls and resolves any problems with carriers.National Storage
Selects and obtains approvals for providers,
Coordinates all the logistics services of the subcontracted warehouses and their transport services,
Supervises, controls and solves all problems in relation with logistics storage services,
Coordinates with the warehouse on the product inputs for purchases and despatchers,
Monitors inventory,
Prepares monthly report on xe2x80x9cSlow Moversxe2x80x9d,
Ensures proper disposal of any obsolete products,
Monitors all storage invoices,
Conducts physical inventory count and correlates with computer grid.
Evaluates the performance and follow up and audits all logistics providers,
Develops KPIs for the Department and monitors performance to provide improvements and streamline supplies, internally and externally,
Reviews and sign off on all supplier invoices and prepares billing forecasts,
Negotiates the 3 PL (logistics partner) contract with the General Manager and Corporate.OtherCreates and manages the annual department budget,
Manages the day-to-day activities of the customer services team members, providing training, development and guidance as required. Recruits, trains, coaches and retains additional customer services team members
Monitors and improves efficiencies within the customer services department
Manages data integrity within SAP
Conducts any ad hoc projects as neededProfileEducation / QualificationBachelors degree in Business Management, Supply Chain or equivalent.
Experience needed+10 yearsxe2x80x99 experience in sales operations and supply chain with knowledge of demand and inventory management concepts, inventory replenishment and principles of international trade, customs related operations, warehousing and domestics distribution,Experience in working with logistic partnersLanguage1. English: proficiency needed2.
