Job Description

The Department of Economic Development and Tourism, Western Cape Government has an opportunity for a suitably qualified and competent individual to render a Supply Chain Management (SCM) service for goods and services that incorporates demand management, acquisition management and contract management.
Minimum RequirementsAn appropriate 3-year National Diploma (equivalent or higher qualification); A minimum of 1-year administrative experience.
RecommendationA relevant 2-years Supply Chain Management/Financial Management experience.

CompetenciesKnowledge of the following: PFMA; Supply Chain Management; Procurement Prescripts; Skills needed: Computer literacy in MS Office Package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.); Ability to work independently and as part of a team; Communication (written and verbal); Excellent report writing; Problem Solving; Analytical; Organising and Planning.
RemunerationR 376 413 per annum (Salary level 8)Note on remuneration: Servicebenefits or obligations for qualifying employees (medical assistance, housing assistance,pension-fund contributions, etc) are funded or co-funded in terms of the applicable prescripts or collective agreements.
