A Travel Retail Software company is looking for a dedicated and professional Supply Chain Manager Global to Manage all Buy On Board and Inflight Retail. The company is a key player in the travel retail sector, specializing in retail, food & beverage, duty-free products, and technologies, catering to B2B and B2C customers globally. Minimum Requirements:
Must have a reliable vehicle and a valid driver's license
Degree-educated or equivalent experience
Qualification in either Logistics or Supply Chain Management
Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply Chain or equivalent certification
In-depth knowledge of Relex Software and various other IT Systems
Advanced Excel skills with CPD accreditation
Desirable proficiency in SQL
Experience and background in FMCG Environment
Experience in staff management and development, particularly with a young team
Analytical and methodical, a logical thinker
Able to work with attention to detail
Complex problem solver, innovative in a structured manner
Objective and factual reasoning
Precise and disciplined
Structured worker and effective administrator

Duties and Responsibilities:
The supply Chain Manager Global candidate will take complete ownership of the management, development, and training of the Supply Chain Team (IFR / In flight retail and BOB) in SA and UK
Implement the company's Retail strategy with personal KPIs and objectives to both their own and team to deliver client service expectations and business growth
Implementation of new planning/forecasting Relex Software into SA & UK, and training of all key staff with regards to how to use the software
Responsible for the ongoing development of Relex software to drive value optimization through the TRS Supply Chain
Reviewing and updating supply chain practices in line with company policies, standards, laws, and regulations
Negotiating terms and prices with suppliers and freight companies, monitoring and assessing their performance and maintaining cost-effective practices
Implementing logistic strategies, and tracking goods from the origination point to the warehouse
Analyzing the supply chain data and solving any issues or putting alternative plans in place
Identifying and minimizing risk by predicting the demand for products and implementing new processes with no interruption to service
Responsible for all stock-relevant budgeted components covering stock budgets, fresh food waste budgets etc
Management of the optimization of retail loading to drive sales, responsibility for leading change to drive availability, lower total stock holding
Decreasing obsolescence through the consistent controlled flow of stock
Monitor supplier performance to assess the ability to meet quality and delivery requirements
Review or update supply chain practices in accordance with new or changing environmental policies, standards, regulations, or laws
Select transportation routes to maximize economy by combining shipments or consolidating warehousing and distribution
Review and implement ways to improve supply chain networks B2B and B2C
Put in place a Supply Chain strategy for growth and development
Ensure compliance with Food Safety and Customs and Excise regulations is being delivered by suppliers and 3PL
Deputise as required in the absence of the Head of Supply Chain & Operations Global
Weekly performance reviews
Adhoc analysis and reporting both internally and externally for Clients
Be prepared to work Flexible hours and out-of-hours escalation (Standard Hours Monday to Friday 08.30 17.00)
