HEAD OF EXECUTIONAs the Head of Execution, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the execution of all agricultural operations. This pivotal role requires a strategic thinker with hands-on experience in agriculture management, supply chain coordination, and project execution. You will lead a team of professionals to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of agricultural products, from farm to market.Key Responsibilities:

• Operational Leadership: Direct and manage the execution of all agricultural operations
• Overseeing daily execution and administrative operations, improving operating procedures for optimal efficiency and enhance internal and external operational processes
• Supply Chain Management: Oversee supply chain processes to ensure seamless coordination between production, storage, and distribution.
• Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of agriculture professionals to achieve operational excellence.
• Project Execution: Implement and monitor projects to improve efficiency, productivity, and sustainability in agricultural practices.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to ensure smooth and effective execution of operations.
• Innovation and Improvement: Identify and implement innovative solutions and best practices to enhance operational efficiency and sustainability.
• Risk management: Identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks.
• Provide transparent risk reporting to management and recommend strategies for improvement. Translate strategies into actionable steps
• Develop strategies for vessel berthing, operations, and stock movement.
• Analyse cargo quality, implement strategies for stock movement, and manage bonded and non-bonded stock
• Review contracts/terms and conditions with stakeholders working closely with management, drafting contract clauses, variations, and other similar documents.
• Plan and execute national and international road, rail, and sea freight business and on schedule. Set standards and benchmarks for measuring successful execution.
• Managing the quality of grain executed to the various customers and ensuring that the relevant commodity analysis is carried out to verify the quality specification including but not limited GMO and Non-GMO cargoes.
• Procurement of service providers and rigorous negotiation of their rates, to carry out the value and/or supply chain activities such as bulk, bagged, or containerized transport, customs clearing, cargo analysis, vessel agency and port or inland terminal services for bonded and non-bonded goods.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Agribusiness, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in agricultural operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record in managing large-scale agricultural projects and operations.
• Strong understanding of agricultural supply chain management and logistics.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in using agricultural management software and tools.
