Job Description
- Delivery on time of an accurate monthly optimized medium and long term finished good inventory and production plan balancing service level/ financial targets with production capabilities.
- Delivery of an on time and accurate monthly fabric purchase plan that balances the production needs, the RM markdown exposure and the fabric inventory level targets. Monthly communication with vendors, on time issuance of the fabric Purchase orders.
- Delivery of a weekly optimised short term production plan, and execution of the production order release against the latest production requirements being constrained by capacity and fabric, so that goods are properly sourced and delivered at the right cost in the right quantity and at the right time.
- Effective financial and logistics monitoring of the inbound logistics of Fabric and finished goods till DC delivery, to ensure on time delivery at lowest possible cost.
- Effective monitoring of total supply chain on time delivery performance versus the needs, including corrective actions to minimise impact on service level.
- Effective communication on availability with HQ Customer Service team and SO forecasting as well as on products and production requirements with product development & sourcing and manufacturing operations group.
- Improved and optimised inventory and production planning processes
- Effective leadership of the SC planning team
- Clear objectives defined and effective implementation of performance and personal development plans for all team members.
