Job Description

Our client is looking for a Technical Support Engineer to join their IT team to assist with ensuring proper operations in their IT Department. Daily obligations will include, resolving network issues, configuring operating systems and using remote desktop connections to provide immediate support.POSITION INFO:
Qualifications:

• BSs degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or relevant field
• Proven 5 years work experience as a Technical Support Analyst, Service Maintenance Administration, Desktop Support

, IT Help Desk Technician or similar role * Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot basic technical issues

• General networking TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS (CompTIA Network+ certified is preferred)
• Additional certification in Microsoft (MCSE), O365, Linux, Cisco or similar technologies is a plus

Requirements:

• Someone with distinctive troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Advanced analytical skills and attention to detail
• Proven ability to quickly learn new technologies, processes, and procedures
• Have the ability to work as an effective and contributing team member
• Ability to provide step-by-step technical help, both written and verbal
• Work on projects aside to the day to day operations
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills & client service skills
• Professional image with the ability to form good partner relationships across functions
