Leads when the need arises but also followers if that is required. The support engineer position is the first step in becoming a project engineer. This roll facilitates the learning process to fully understand the AUTOMILL solution, both in terms of software and hardware.Natural problem solvers and people eager to learn will fit perfectly. Successful people will be required to keep to timelines and deadlines continuously without fail and to be self-sufficient, being able to teach him/herself new skills.The following will be required from you.:

• Provide telephonic and email support to existing AUTOMILL clients.
• Help diagnose issues based on the information obtained from site.
• Take corrective actions (software & hardware) to resolve the issue.
• To understand the AUTOMILL solution, and take the next step to project engineer.

• To work independently and in groups on projects.
• To follow a leader when the need arises on a project.
• To keep to timelines and deadlines always.
• To always be eager to learn.
• To be eager to solve problems.
• To use existing systems even if you disagree with them (eg. Project management, stock, etc)
• To have a passion for data, data handling and reporting.
• You will be required to travel on short notice if the need arise.
• You must always be in possession of a valid passport.
• You must always be in possession of a valid driver's license.
• You must always be in possession of a roadworthy vehicle.
• You must always be in possession or be able to obtain a certificate of fitness.
• You will be required to do support on our existing and future installed systems.

Hard Skills:

• 3 year degree (Electrical, electronic, computer, mechatronics)
• Any programming experience.
• English and Afrikaans Speaking
