To assist in receiving , prioritise and log emergency and non-emergency telephone calls and to determine the appropriate level of EMS assistanceKEY RESPONSIBILITY AREASDispatch vehicles according to the CAD systemAssist in receiving, prioritise, logging, and processing all calls and alerts receivedProvide basic contact centre administrationREQUIRED EDUCATIONESSENTIAL EDUCATION: Grade 12DESIRED EDUCATION: BAA/ Level 3 first aid CertificationREQUIRED EXPERIENCEESSENTIAL MININUM EXPERIENCE: Contact Centre / Emergency Contact Centre exposureDESIRED EXPERIENCE: 1 - 3 years dispatching in an EMS contact centreREQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
