Title Support Technician AV/VCWe are looking for a trained AV/VC Support Technician to solve standard client queries or problems. More complex problems to be referred to another area or department. Requires product knowledge.The Opportunity:

• coordinating with others, including the technical manager & operations manager, you will be part of the
• team delivering first-class Support in an economical and timely manner.
• You will be supported by and be working closely with multiple parties including Networking teams, Vendors, programmers as well as Facilities management teams to Support our client to the best of our abilities.

Core Role:To provide end-to-end system Support as well as Event Support in Auditoriums and Remotely on MS teams Live and to ensure a wide range of integrated audiovisual and video conferencing technologies are maintained at all of the client sites that have been specified. will have a major input to the success of a new AV or VC project and will play a pivotal role in the future success of the company. You will take ownership of the delivery of the AVVC systems commissioning process, both on the projects you are assigned to and generally, analysing, documenting and implementing best practises for commissioning and pre-commissioning work with the correct User acceptance testing documents signed by the relevant parties.Main Duties:xc2xb7 To commission and quality assure audio and audiovisual installations to an excellent standard.xc2xb7 Producing system configuration documentation and ensuring fully operational audiovisual systems.xc2xb7 To perform quality assurance checks on installations and identify any issues that need resolving, and work in close collaboration with the installation team and the project manager to ensure they are resolved.xc2xb7 Responsible for fault finding and technical resolution during the commissioning phase, escalating to third parties where necessary as well as on a continual basis after installation is completed.xc2xb7 To collaborate closely with the programmer, and the client, in order to establish and share the brief for the control systems.xc2xb7 Conducting off site and onsite testing and configuration.xc2xb7 To work through software control systems to identify programming snags.xc2xb7 Delivering system training to end users when newly installed systems are introducedxc2xb7 Perform maintenance visits, on-going technical support and providing advice and information to colleagues in the support team. (Preventative maintenance is done daily and weekly)xc2xb7 To communicate effectively to peers, management and customers.xc2xb7 Review and update system schematics, cable schedules etc.; create O&M documentation and xe2x80x98as builtxe2x80x99 versions of the technical documents for future internal reference.xc2xb7 The development of junior audiovisual engineers / trainee commissioning engineers.xc2xb7 Feedback to systems design team regarding products and design, and any other lessons learned on a project. Skills,xc2xb7 Supporting and Moderating events through multiple web-based broadcasting platforms such as Blue Jeans, MS Teams and even Zoom.Knowledge and Experience:xc2xb7 A positive attitude, a xe2x80x98can-doxe2x80x99, xe2x80x98team firstxe2x80x99 approach to your workxc2xb7 Skills and experience that make you proficient in commissioning modern audio, videoconferencing and AV systems as well as the support of the systems thereafterxc2xb7 An understanding of the end-to-end complexities of an audiovisual and video installation project.xc2xb7 A proven track record in field-based audiovisual commissioning tasks, maintenance and operation.xc2xb7 IT Network knowledge: an understanding of AV and VC systemsxe2x80x99 integration with existing IT systems is essential. (Such as MS teams and Office 365)xc2xb7 Soft skills to support High profile individuals both remotely and face to face when support is requiredYou would ideally have:xc2xb7 Worked as an AV support technician within the corporate environment.xc2xb7 The ability and presence to liaise with clients at senior and Exco level, external consult third parties such as main contractors, distributors and manufacturers as well as project consultants.xc2xb7 An above average level of understanding of audio, audio signal flow.ants,xc2xb7 A selection of current, relevant industry manufacturer accreditations. (Polycom, Crestron, AMX etc)xc2xb7 The ability to program Sound structure, BSS, and Video Conferencing systems, and basic Extron/ Crestron/AMX programming is a bog benefit.xc2xb7 A full driverxe2x80x99s license.Education National Certificate Level 4 (N4) / Grade 12: Information Technology (Required)Languages English
