Our client is seeking a skilled Support Technician - 4 Month ContractMinimum Requirements:
Experience
Minimum 3 years of desktop support experience (Microsoft Windows)
Technical Skills
Proficiency in Edge and Chrome browsers
General printer and peripheral skills and knowledge
Excellent troubleshooting skills
Communication Skills
Good communicator with stakeholders (onsite store staff, Team Leader, IT vendor, WFS IT team/Project war room)
Tasks
Technical resources needed for:
New printer rollout (Zebra)
Originations platform upgrade (browser-based)
Implementation of new signature pad process
Travel Requirements
Vehicle
Own, reliable vehicle preferred
Ability to use Uber (with reimbursement claim)
On-Site Presence
Must be able to be on-site at one or more stores per day
Petrol/Uber reimbursement included in the proposal
Tools Provided
Equipment
WFS will issue a laptop with email and Teams functionality
4G/LTE SIM card provided
Responsibilities:
Perform asset audit/stock count
Assist with issues post-new printer installation (our support vendor will perform the actual printer installation)
Assist the store in switching over to the web-based Fico Origination platform (be the ears and eyes on the ground and provide feedback/escalate to the remote war site room that will run for the duration of the rollout)
Assist in switching over to the new signature pad process (PDF, local software, drivers) existing Wacom signature pads will not be changed, just the software
Troubleshoot computer issues related to the printing of store/credit cards
Troubleshoot issues related to signature pads
Guidance/instructions will be provided by the WFS IT team; specific knowledge of the card printer, Origination platform, and signature pads is not required
