Survey Draughtsman - Mining - Northern Cape
Candidate Profile
- The Survey Draughtsman will construct and update the following in accordance with the DMR's schedule of conventional signs and colours: Surface Plans Ventilation and Rescue Plans, Geological Plans and Mine Residue Plans.
- Keep an updated inventory of plans in accordance with Chapter 17 of the Regulations of the Mine Health and Safety Act.
- Ensure the survey back-ups and filing is always up to date.
- Interacts with Geology, Geotech and Mine Planning to ensure data integration. Assist in compilation of Accident and Fatal plans as required by DMR.
- Advanced Draughting Certificate (COM).
- Advanced Knowledge of Bentley MicroStation V8i.
- Good Knowledge of Maptek Vulcan.
- Minimum of 5 Years' Experience as a Draughtsman in the Mining Industry.
- Sound Computer Literacy in the Microsoft Office suite
- Will be according to qualifications and experience and will include competitive conditions of employment. Salary will be market related
