PURPOSEThe roles is responsible for calculating the dimensions, elevations, shapes, and contours ofsitesRESPONSIBILITIESContract Administration andReportingAssist in the preparation of assessment/evaluation reports and attend meetings asrequired by site management.Research project drawings, documents,specifications and BOQ.Maintains field data records, survey project files,DrawingRegister and project take-off records.Prepare all data, charts, plots, maps, records,and documents related to surveys.Acquire and maintain registration with the SouthAfrican Geomatics InstituteInstrumentation KnowledgeTrimble RTK GPSTrimble Access softwareTrimble Robotic Total stationDigital levelCapture, Review & ResolveInterpreting construction drawingsSetting out of worksMeasuring as build data and maintainingrecordsEstablish control networks and perform leastsquare adjustments.Software equipment:Model MakerRoad MakerAutoCADMS OfficeQualificationsNational Diploma or B-Tech in SurveyingSAGC (PLATO) registration would be advantageousExperience5 to 10 years experience in the Construction field (Roads, Bridgesand Earthworks)Skills, Qualities and Abilities requiredWorking knowledge of software such as AutoCAD and TrimbleBusiness Centre programs.Multi-rotor drone license and ability to process images into surveydata.Analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Meticulous attention to detail.Effective written and verbal communication skillsClosing Date21 October 2024
