OverviewWe are recruiting for multiple positions for our client, a global leader in sustainability consulting. The client is dedicated to assisting their clients in transforming their approach to sustainability reporting, leveraging technology and innovative strategies to address some of society's most pressing challenges. Role SummaryKey Responsibilities:Enhancing Credibility of Non-Financial Sustainability and Climate Reporting:

• Conduct current state assessments, regulatory impact assessments, gap analysis, and maturity assessments.
• Design and implement sustainability reporting frameworks.
• Ensure readiness for sustainability reporting assurance.

Driving Sustainability Transformation Programs:

• Ensure fair transitions to Net Zero.
• Develop and implement sustainability strategies and models.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with the UK Sustainability practice, operating virtually to deliver services to UK-based and global clients.
• Engage with senior client stakeholders, leading complex sustainability reporting engagements.

Emerging Regulations:

• Stay updated on emerging sustainability regulations expected from 2024 onwards, such as TCFD, CSRD, SDR, SS3/19, and Transition Plan Taskforce activities in the UK.

Client Delivery:

• Manage multiple engagements in a fast-paced environment.
• Build and maintain key stakeholder relationships.

Qualifications and ExperienceEducational Background:

• University degree or professional qualifications in relevant fields.

Professional Experience:

• Experience in client delivery across sustainability reporting requirements.
• Knowledge of asset managers, banks, and insurers, either from within the business or through professional services consulting.
• Experience in implementing new financial services regulations.
• Up-to-date with emerging regulations and standards (e.g., TCFD, CSRD, SDR, SS3/19).

Skills:

• Project management with the ability to handle multiple engagements.
• Experience in managing and coaching teams.
• Clear and effective communication skills.
• Ability to build key stakeholder relationships internally and externally.

ResponsibilitiesProject :

• Lead project teams in various sustainability reporting activities.
• Oversee progress and budgets in client-facing and internal engagements.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on sustainability reporting frameworks and topics.
• Stay informed about the latest reporting developments.

Client and Stakeholder Management:

• Manage day-to-day relationships with key clients and internal stakeholders.
• Identify new client opportunities and contribute to sales and marketing efforts.
• Develop proposals and thought leadership materials.

Proposition Development:

• Contribute to the development of sustainability reporting propositions and digital assets.

People Responsibilities

• Develop junior team members through coaching, supervision, and training.
• Practice upward management and communication.
• Foster a positive and inclusive team environment.

Desirable Skill SetsFinancial services expertise, including qualified accountants with auditing experience.Development of sustainability strategy and models, including:

• Economic and financial modelling skills.
• Data collection and management.
• Financial accounting and annual reporting under IFRS.

Support for achieving net zero ambitions:

• International funding grant application and reporting.
• Carbon modelling and accounting.
• Environmental impact in construction, real estate, urban development, energy efficiency, renewables, and building retrofits.

Industry Experience

• Experience across various industries including public sector, private sector, and financial services.
